What We Believe​

 

We Believe and Confess:

​

One True God, Triune, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:18-20, Galatians 4:4-7)

That Jesus Christ, second Person of the Trinity, is the Savior of the World, dying on the cross to pay for the sins of fallen mankind and rising again, offering victory over death and eternal life to all who believe in Him. (John 3:16)

​

That God gives us the assurance of salvation not based on our efforts or good words, but that salvation is ours purely by God’s grace in Jesus Christ, through faith brought about by the work of Holy Spirit. (Romans 1:16-17, Ephesians 2:1-10, 1 Corinthians 12:3)

That the Holy Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God and that through the Word alone, God the Holy Spirit inspires faith in the hearts of people to trust in Jesus for salvation. (Romans 10:14-17)

Though we, as sinners, could never save ourselves by trying to obey God’s Ten Commandments perfectly, we, in the love of Christ, want to do good works pleasing to God and beneficial to our neighbor. (John 13:34, 14:15, 15:1-17, Romans 12)

God wants us to grow and stay strong in the faith, as we lend ourselves to His Word, regular worship, prayer,and fellowship with other Christians. (Acts 2:42, Hebrews 3:13, 10:23-25)
